Laid in America – Facts about KSI and Caspar Lee’s new movie

Earlier in the year YouTube stars KSI (Olajide Olatunji) and Caspar Lee announced that they would be joining forces to release their own movie, Laid in America.

The release, which is pegged for a 2016 unveiling according to movie encyclopedia IMDB, is headed by Bad Weather Films, the same production group that has worked in the past with entertainers including Roman Atwood and prankster VitalyzdTV. Laid in America is being directed by Sam Milman and Peter Vass.

“Two foreign exchange high-school students are kidnapped during their quest to get laid on their last night in America”.

Whilst filming is still ongoing, we still know a reasonable amount about what to expect from the upcoming movie. IMDB offers a short but sweet synopsis of the experience, writing: “Two foreign exchange high-school students are kidnapped during their quest to get laid on their last night in America”.

This won’t be the first time that KSI and Caspar have starred alongside each other in front of camera, considering the pair have filmed a number of YouTube collab videos over the years, with one of the more popular uploads featuring a rather scary-looking BB gun.

Joining the pair of vloggers on the big screen will be some other recognisable faces including Tay Zonday and Timothy DeLaGhetto, whose ‘dirty’ re-imagining of hit song Call Me Maybe secured the uploader over 25 million hits back in 2012.

Taking into account KSI and Caspar Lee’s reach when it comes to social media, we’re expecting Laid in America to have quite an impact on the YouTube community. The pair boast millions of fans across the world between them, so they’ll certainly be hoping the project is received well.
