Laid in America release date announced

KSI and Caspar Lee’s movie, Laid in America, has finally been given a release date, and fans of the YouTube stars won’t have long to wait.

The feature-length film will be available to buy on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download on 25th September in the U.S. and 26th September in the UK.

Along with its general release, Laid in America will also have premieres screened in London and Hollywood on the same dates.

Laid in America follows two foreign exchange high-school students as they’re kidnapped during their quest to “get laid on their last night in America”.

YouTube fans have been eagerly awaiting the film’s release for quite some time, with KSI and Caspar initially announcing the plans for the movie over a year ago.

Plenty of other famous YouTubers will be joining the duo on the big screen, including Tay Zonday, Timothy DeLaGhetto, Jason Horto and KSI’s brother, Deji Olatunji (Comedyshortsgamer).

Laid in America is expected to draw a large audience considering the millions of subscribers that the duo have between them. KSI has over 2 million followers on Twitter, while Caspar is closer to 4 million dedicated fans.

This isn’t the first film that Caspar Lee has been involved with recently. Last year, the YouTuber released a feature-length documentary with his friend Joe Sugg, Joe and Caspar Hit the Road.

Joe and Caspar Hit the Road follows the pair’s road trip across Europe, and the DVD shot straight to the top of the UK charts.
