Rumour: MythBusters to team up with The Slow Mo Guys

Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman from hit science show MythBusters may be collaborating with The Slow Mo Guys in the near future, according to one of the show’s presenters.

Speaking via a Q&A over on Reddit, Savage hinted at a possible partnership between the two groups, in news that will certainly have YouTube fans itching with excitement.

Responding to Reddit user Timothay, Savage admitted: “Yes, we’ve been talking to The Slow Mo Guys”.

At the time of writing, The Slow Mo Guys’ YouTube channel boasts over 5 million subscribers, with the pair’s most popular video involving a giant, 6ft water balloon.

MythBusters first aired in January 2003, offering up a host of wacky scientific experiments to both educate and entertain the masses. Popular episodes included ‘The Exploding Toilet’, ‘Alcatraz Escape’ and ‘Peeing on the Third Rail’.

Here at Tube Chum, we welcome the thought of Savage and Hyneman teaming up with Gav and Dan for a YouTube special. Our fingers are crossed that there’s substance to the rumours.
