Shay Mitchell on YouTube: Fashion Favourite

Today I’d like to talk about one of my fashion favourites on YouTube, Shay Mitchell.

Yes, I might be a little late to the party, but that’s only because we’d have to see the content first before we could talk about it, don’t you think?

Famous for her role in Pretty Little Liars, this half-Filipino, half-Irish beauty started her career in modelling and later branched out into acting. As we now know, this was a smart move, as the series is now on its way to its fifth season.

Even though she has only been around the community for a month, Shay’s videos  have attracted over 230,000 subscribers.

As a young model, Shay was lucky enough to get a taste of fashion and beauty, something that she would later be excessively addicted to.

Even though this talented beauty guru has only been a part of the YouTube community for a little over a month, her videos so far have attracted over 230,000 subscribers. Ahmazing!

Like most fashion and beauty YouTubers out there, Shay uploads ‘look books’ and beauty regimes for her viewers. Even so, what caught my attention the most when I first checked out her channel was that it felt more like a lifestyle channel.

Shay Mitchell’s house tour video is my favourite, without a doubt. It’s one of those videos that leaves you feeling inspired, thinking, “right, time to step up my home décor game!”. Don’t believe me? Well you’re gonna have to see it for yourself!

Let me give you a little warning though. Shay’s videos are so professionally edited that some of her viewers get the feeling that the content feels less ‘personal’. To others, however, the fashion vlogger’s videos come in like a breath of fresh air.

Personally, I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with great video production!
