Smosh: The Movie was officially released today and is available as a digital download on Vimeo and iTunes.
The new film, starring Ian Andrew Hecox and Anthony Padilla from Smosh, saw its worldwide premier take place on Wednesday in Los Angeles, followed by a pre-screening at this weekend’s VidCon event in Anaheim. It will also be appearing in theatres across the country and will be made available in the UK from Sunday 26th July.
Smosh is currently among the top 5 most subscribed channels on YouTube with over 20 million followers and has been an active channel for almost a decade.
Other YouTube stars will be making guest appearances in the movie, including Shane Dawson and Jenna Marbles.

The premiere of the new film was live-streamed on YouTube, broadcasting the stars appearing on the red carpet in front of thousands of fans. The red carpet also offered an opportunity to reveal Smosh wax figures of both Ian and Anthony, due to be displayed at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco.
Wax models of the duo will be shown as part of a new interactive exhibit. You can watch some behind-the-scenes of the process over on the Madame Tussauds YouTube Channel.
