A new video uploaded to the YouTube Creators channel has showcased a number of upcoming website changes that aim to improve the YouTube user experience.
One of the group’s newest projects includes a mobile app that enables users to manage their channels from a phone or tablet It’s an addition that many will be excited about, ultimately ensuring YouTube management tools are more accessible than ever before.
Other updates include improved comment management and the ability to have crowd-funding campaigns available directly through YouTube, which would enable fans to lend a helping hand financially to support the creators they love.
YouTube’s audio library is also receiving added tracks and sound effects, which is an overdue addition considering the function hasn’t been shown much love since Christmas 2013 when a variety of festive songs were added.
Also discussed in the upload were plans to improve monetization and ad revenue for YouTube’s creators.
Malik Ducard, Director of Partnerships, said: “we’re also working on other ways, other business models, for you to build your business on YouTube”.
This surge of updates and additions to YouTube will be an encouraging sign for many YouTubers, partnered with other recent updates including the arrival of 3 second intros.
